Malaysia 4th Quater GDP improved 4.5%.

Malaysia Prime Minister Najib Razak said Wednesday that the nation's economy expanded at a faster-than-expected 4.5% in the fourth quarter, a rebound from the third quarter's 1.2% contraction.

For the whole of 2009, gross domestic product fell 1.7%, less severe than an official forecast of 3.0% contraction.

Average GDP during 7th Malaysia plan: 4.9%
Average GDP during 8th Malaysia plan: 4.5%
Forecast average GDP during 9th Malaysia plan 4.3%

Prime Minister of Malaysia Najib said that Malaysia need to achieve 8% GDP growth per year for a decade to go to achieve Vision 2020...
8% gdp grow wor, u think we china meh, 1.3bil population, now whole world only china can achieve 8% every years lah, and now we left 10 years only, thats y we come out another slogan "1 malaysia" the upgrade version of Dr. M wawasan 2020 to replace it, or, we change it to wawasan 2030 ?
